Pre-College Training

Learning Objectives

Pre-university education, especially in the US, insufficiently prepares individuals for careers in financial services. Often it’s difficult to know where to start – MPC structures tutoring and classes to help students determine if a career in finance is suitable for them, and if so, provides a sound basis to pave the way for their development.

History and Experience

I’ve worked with many groups of students, domestic and international, in-person and virtual to help them begin their study of finance. Teaching younger students requires patience and structure. The key is to make the sessions or classes enjoyable and ignite interest in the global financial markets.

Courses Offered

In the past, I’ve led classes in Stock Valuation, Economic & Financial Markets and Introduction to Financial Principles, mostly for high school students.

Courses can be tailored to meet the needs of the students, but most importantly, all courses are taught at an introductory level and student participation is not only requested but required.

Student Reviews

“This course will be immensely helpful as I want to take up a career in research analysis and investment management.”

“This class differentiated from most other courses because it was not taught out of a textbook. This high-level thinking is what makes this course unique.”
